چکیده
CAPP-8TB is an axion dark matter search experiment dedicated to mass near 6.7 $\mu$eV. The uses a microwave resonant cavity under strong magnetic field of 8 T produced by superconducting solenoid magnet in dilution refrigerator. We describe the experimental configuration used for range 6.62 6.82 $\mu$eV first phase experiment. also discuss next and its prospects.

Axion BEC Dark Matter
Cold dark matter axions thermalize through gravitational self-interactions and form a BoseEinstein condensate when the photon temperature reaches approximately 500 eV. Axion Bose-Einstein condensation provides an opportunity to distinguish axions from the other dark matter candidates on the basis of observation. The rethermalization of axions that are about to fall in a galactic potential well ...
متن کاملSearch for chameleon scalar fields with the axion dark matter experiment.
Scalar fields with a "chameleon" property, in which the effective particle mass is a function of its local environment, are common to many theories beyond the standard model and could be responsible for dark energy. If these fields couple weakly to the photon, they could be detectable through the afterglow effect of photon-chameleon-photon transitions. The ADMX experiment was used in the first ...
متن کاملThe XENON Dark Matter Search Experiment
The XENON experiment aims at the direct detection of dark matter in the form of WIMPs (Weakly Interacting Massive Particles) via their elastic scattering off Xe nuclei. A fiducial mass of 1000 kg, distributed in ten independent liquid xenon time projection chambers(LXeTPCs) will be used to probe the lowest interaction cross section predicted by SUSY models. The TPCs are operated in dual (liquid...
متن کاملMixed axion-wino dark matter
A variety of supersymmetric models give rise to a split mass spectrum characterized by very heavy scalars but sub-TeV gauginos, usually with a wino-like LSP. Such models predict a thermally-produced underabundance of wino-like WIMP dark matter so that non-thermal DM production mechanisms are necessary. We examine the case where theories with a wino-like LSP are augmented by a Peccei-Quinn secto...
